He began gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing as a teenager before expanding into roles in logistics, construction, and eventually roofing. Over the years, Michael built practical knowledge across multiple areas of the trades while continuing to farm part-time, balancing his passion for agriculture with a growing career in construction.
